Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on February 24, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on February 18, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
  • Agreement between Lincoln County, Nebraska and NEBCON for the HVAC

Replacement Phase I production well for the design and construction of a

groundwater extraction and injection well

  • Accepting resignation of Dan Guenthner as Lincoln County Emergency Management Director effective February 28, 2014
  • Appointing a temporary Lincoln County Emergency Management Director effective March 1, 2014
  • Withdrawal of securities by NebraskaLand National Bank as pledged to the

County Clerk

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on February 18, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Closed session concerning strategy regarding pending litigation and to

protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the

public interest

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         10:00 A.M.     Public hearing to receive comments on the One & Six Year Road

Plan of Lincoln County, Nebraska

 

Consider adoption of plan following the public hearing

 

6.         11:00 A.M.     Closed session concerning strategy regarding pending litigation

and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the

public interest
