Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on March 31, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on March 24, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
  • Fee report submitted by the County Sheriff

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on March 24, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:30 A.M.       Discuss and consider declaring a 1989 Ford econoline cargo van (mobile equipment), inventory item of the Building and Grounds (Inventory number 01599), to be surplus mobile equipment, which is obsolete or unusable by the County.

6.                          9:40 A.M.       Discuss and consider declaring a brush and/or cab that are accessories to a 2009 Grasshopper 723T zero turn mower, inventory items of the Building and Grounds, to be surplus personal property, which is/are obsolete or unusable by the County.

Discuss and consider what value to place on surplus personal property or properties (brush and/or cab), which is/are obsolete or unusable by the County.

Discuss and consider authorizing the sale of the surplus personal property or properties (brush and/or cab), which is/are obsolete or unusable by the County, by means (ways) allowed under Neb. Rev. Stat. §23-3115.

Lincoln County Department of Roads, to be surplus property, which is

obsolete or unusable by the County

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property

(scrap iron) located at the Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (scrap iron) to

Alter Metals for $150 per ton, contingent on the total value of the

surplus property (scrap iron) being under $2,500
