Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on February 3, 2020 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held January 27, 2020

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Resubmission of special designated liquor license by US Junior Chamber of Commerce DBA North Platte Jaycee’s for a fundraiser on March 7, 2020 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Livestock Barn.

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on January 27, 2020

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Requests for waiver so that the County Assessor can consider the application for exemption on real and personal property due to late filing

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider presentation of schematic drawings by TreanorHL for the Lincoln County Detention Center addition and remodel project

 

 

 

  1. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider declaring the county’s surplus mobile equipment (scrap pickup trucks) in the Lincoln County Department of Roads to be surplus property, which is obsolete or unusable by the County

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (scrap pickup trucks) located at the Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (scrap pickup trucks) to Alter Metals for current price per ton, contingent on the total value of the surplus property (scrap pickup trucks) being under $5000.

 

  1. 9:50 A.M. Discuss and consider declaring the county’s surplus mobile equipment (1966 CAT motor-grader with Roanoke Mower) in the Lincoln County Department of  Roads to be surplus property, which is obsolete or unusable by the county

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (1966 CAT motor-grader with Roanoke Mower) located at the Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

Discuss and consider authorizing the sale of the surplus property which is obsolete or unusable by the county by means (ways) allowed under Neb. Rev. Stat. §23-3115

  1. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date for pickup bids for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office

Stat. § 23-114.05 because of an alleged violation of Section 10.02 (1) (Zoning Permit Required) of Article 10 (Administration and Enforcement) of the “Zoning Regulations of The county of Lincoln, Nebraska.”

  1. 10:40 A.M. Explanation & clarification to the Board of the Proposal Amending Sections 8.07 and 8.08 of Article 8 (Supplemental Regulations) of the “Zoning Regulations of The County of Lincoln, Nebraska.”  Consider acceptance of any documents presented.
