Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on March 9, 2020 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on March 9, 2020 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting  held March 2, 2020

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Receive and order filed fee reports submitted by Clerk of District Court, Register of Deeds and County Clerk
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the right of way application submitted by Nebraskalink Holdings
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the right of way application submitted by Consolidated Companies, Inc.
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign a rental contract with Microfilm Imaging Systems for a printer located at the County Attorney’s Office

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on March 2, 2020
  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 9:20 A.M. Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus personal property (large conference table stored on the 4th floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse).

 

  • Discuss and consider authorizing Jeff Higgins, Building & Grounds Superintendent for Lincoln County, to sale the personal property (large conference table stored on the 4th floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse) to Aten Construction, contingent on the value of the property being less than $2,500.

 

  1. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider acceptance of informal bid for fencing on the South River Road Reconstruction Project
  1. 9:40 A.M. Discuss and consider informal bid for a construction engineer for the O’Fallen TIA bridge project

 

  1. 9:50 A.M. Discuss and consider a special designated liquor permit submitted by the Lincoln County Ag Society for a fundraiser to be held on April 4, 2020 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds

 

  1. 10:00 A.M. Public Hearing on the One & Six Year Road Plan

 

Consider adoption of plan following public hearing

 

  1. 11:00 A.M. Discuss and consider agreement with The Schemmer Associates Inc.  for courthouse mechanical and geothermal analysis consulting services

 

  1. 11:15 A.M. Discuss and consider settling with Bryce L. Franzen in regards to the guardian ad litem fees due and owing to “The county of Lincoln” by Bryce L. Franzen, Case No. CI 00-158, In the District Court of Lincoln County, Nebraska.
  • Closed session to discuss strategy session with respect to pending litigations and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary for the protection of the public interest.
