Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on November 22, 2021 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on November 15, 2021

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Adoption of Resolution No. 2021-39 authorizing the County Board Chairman to sign the Year End Certification of County Highway Supt.
  • Receive and order filed the fee report submitted by the County Sheriff
  • Cancellation of the December 27, 2021 Commissioners meeting
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the right-of-way application submitted by HGK Cattle Company/Gothenburg Irrigation & Well Service
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the special designated liquor permit submitted by GL Concepts LLC dba The Good Life for an event at Harbor Lights on December 11, 2021
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign Amendment 1 to the USDA Wildlife Services Agreement

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on November 15, 2021

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider a lease agreement or purchase agreement for

a mailing system for Lincoln County

 

  1. 9:40 A.M. Discussion of Commissioner redistricting proposal from gWorks

using 2020 Census data as required per Nebraska State Statute §32-553(1)(c)

 

  1. 9:50 A.M. Closed session concerning strategy session regarding imminent

litigation and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect

the public interest

 

Discuss and consider potential settlement with CSOM regarding tax sale certificate
