Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on September 15, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on September 8, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipt
  • Fee reports submitted by Register of Deeds, County Clerk and County Treasurer
  • Consider setting a date to accept bids for relocating the World War I monument and

flag poles

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on September 8, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Recess or adjourn to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

7.         10:00 A.M.     Public hearing to receive comments on the proposed 2014/2015

fiscal year Lincoln County, Nebraska budget

 

Consider resolution to adopt the 2014/2015 fiscal year Lincoln County,

Nebraska budget

 

8.         10:30 A.M.     Public hearing to receive comments relating to setting the final

tax levy request at a different amount than the prior year to request

 

Consider resolution following the public hearing

 

9.         11:00 A.M.     Discuss and consider purchase of computers for the Lincoln

County Sheriff’s Office

 

10.       11:15 A.M.     Discuss and consider process of vacating or abandoning part of

a right-of-way of a road or roads bordering a vacated Lot 1, Block 14, in the

Village of Bignell, in the NE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 35, Township 13 North,

Range 29 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska

 

11.       11:30 A.M.     Closed session concerning strategy regarding pending litigation

and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect
