Announcement – On December 17, 2018 at 8:45 A.M., the appointed Commissioners Walter Johnson – District 4 and Jerry L. Woodruff – District 5 will be sworn in at the Lincoln County
Commissioner’s Room at the Lincoln County Courthouse.
Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on December 17, 2018 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:20 A.M.
Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on December 17, 2018 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:25 A.M.
1. Open with prayer
2. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting
held on December 10, 2018
3. Consider the following:
• Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
• Receive and order filed fee reports submitted by the County Sheriff & County Treasurer
• Appointment of Joe Hewgley to the West Central Area on Aging Board until January 14, 2019 when the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners
have the re-organizational meeting
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.
4. 9:25 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
• Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting
held on December 10, 2018
• Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
• Motor vehicle tax exemption applications as submitted by the County Treasurer
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
5. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider the tort claim filed by Wayne Griffin on
behalf of Richard Hasenauer Bodenhamer
6. 9:45 A.M. Update by Lincoln County Highway Superintendent, Carla O’Dell on
Sutherland North Bridge
7. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider appointing the Lincoln County Road Superintendent, Carla O’Dell, to work with the North Platte Parks, Recreation and Wellness Foundation, Inc., or a representative/agent thereof, in regards to the possibility of “The county of Lincoln” applying for grant funds in 2019 from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Recreational Trails Program concerning the “West State Farm Connection Trail.”
8. 10:10 A.M. Discuss and consider the recommendation hiring of Jon Schmeider
and the Huddle Up Group to work with the Visitor’s Bureau and the Sports Commission
on a Sports Tourism Strategic Plan for the North Platte area made by the North Platte/Lincoln County Visitor’s Bureau Advisory Board
9. 10:20 A.M. Discuss and consider plans for the bathrooms’ remodeling.
10. 10:30 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date to receive bids on three pickups for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
Conduct a quarterly inspection of the Lincoln County Detention Center.
