Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on January 11, 2021 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Elect Lincoln County Board of Commissioners Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2021

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held January 4, 2021

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Appointment of official newspaper to publish legal notices in 2021 for The county of Lincoln, Nebraska
  • Setting the mileage rate at 56 cents per mile per the NE Dept. of Administrative Services effective January 11, 2021
  • Receive and order filed the fee reports submitted by the County Clerk, Register of Deeds and Clerk of District Court
  • Adoption of a resolution authorizing the County Treasurer to invest county funds for

2021

  • Authorizing the Chairman to enter into an agreement with Maximus to provide professional consulting services from December 1, 2020 to January 1, 2026
  • Approve the reappointments of Tyrell Rousey, Stacy Kuhlman, Tina Golter and Sara

Wiseman to the Lincoln/Logan/McPherson Counties Extension Board for three year terms

  • Approve the new appointment of Lana Webster (replacing Tim Vaughn) to the Lincoln/Logan/McPherson Counties Extension Board
  • Receive and order filed in the office of the Lincoln County Clerk the audit report of Lincoln County ending June 30, 2020

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Elect Lincoln County Board of Equalization Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2021
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on January 4, 2021

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Motor vehicle tax exemption applications submitted by the County Treasurer

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 9:20 A.M. Discuss and consider authorizing the Chairman to sign the July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 VOCA grant application and related documents

 

  1. 9:30 A.M. Public Hearing concerning the proposed vacation of Sea Street located

within Jeffrey Fjords Subdivision

 

Consider possible action following public hearing

 

  1. 9:55 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date to accept bids for a tractor and mower

for Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

  1. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date to receive requests for food service

proposals for the Lincoln County Detention Center
