Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners  meeting held on June 13, 2011

 

3.         Consider the following:

  1. v     Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
  2. v     Fee report submitted by the County Sheriff
  3. v     Right of way permits submitted by Consolidated Companies

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  1. v     Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on June 13, 2011
  2. v     Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  3. v     Notice of valuation changes submitted by County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:30 A.M.       Introduction of Jennifer Rogers – Western Nebraska Field Representative for United States Senator Ben Nelson

 

6.         9:45 A.M.       Discuss and consider declaring the county’s scrap iron in the    Lincoln County Roads Department to be surplus property, which is           obsolete or not useable by the County.

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (scrap iron) located at the Lincoln County Roads Department.

 

Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (scrap iron) to North Metals LLC for $165.00 per ton, contingent on the total value of the surplus property (scrap iron) being under $2,500.00.

 

7.         10:00 A.M.     Discuss and consider proposal by GIS Workshop for    services to re-district Commissioner Districts using the 2010 census             figures as per Nebraska State Statute 32-553

 

8.         10:15 A.M.     Discuss and consider renewal agreement with USDA    Wildlife Services

 

9.         10:30 A.M.     Discuss and consider the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office application for a JAG Grant in cooperation with the North Platte Police Department

 

10.       10:45 A.M.     Discuss and consider medical services to be provided to the Lincoln County Detention Center

 

11.       11:00 A.M.     Discuss and consider reappointment of Ken George to the Veterans Service Committee for a 5 year term.
