Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

2. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held on
September 26, 2011
3. Consider the following:
v Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
v Authorizing the Chairman to sign a Federal Engagement letter and legal litigation letter
for Don Wilson, CPA
v Withdrawal of securities by NebraskaLand National Bank as pledged to the County Clerk
4. 9:10 A.M. Public hearing to receive comments relating to setting the final tax levy
request at a different amount than the prior year tax request
Consider adoption of resolution following the public hearing
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board
of Equalization.
5. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
v Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on
September 26, 2011
v Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
v Adoption of a resolution to set the 2011 tax levies for all political subdivisions
v Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

to the Victims of Crime Act Grant
7. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider a contract with the State of Nebraska, Department of
Revenue Property Assessment Division, for a computer assisted mass appraisal system for
the County Assessor
8. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider special designated liquor permit submitted by
Cowpoke LLC of Tryon for an event to be held on October 22, 2011 at the Lincoln County
Fairgrounds
9. 10:30 A.M. Accept bids on bridge crossing Gulch Canyon and located 5.5 miles south, 3
miles east of Brady, NE and is 880 feet south of Banner Road on Wahlgren Road. Legal:
NW ¼ of Section 7; Township 11 North; Range 26 W
