NOTICE OF HEARING AND AGENDA

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on April 30, 2012 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on April 30, 2012 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on April 23, 2012

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Ø  Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Ø  Fee report submitted by the County Sheriff
  • Ø Addition of securities by First National Bank as pledged to the County Treasurer

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Ø  Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on April 23, 2012

  • Ø  Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:20 A.M.       Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into a contract with Figgins Construction Co., Inc., in regards to the Armor Coating Project for the Lincoln County Department of Roads, Project No. LCDOR 2012-3, and authorize the Lincoln County Board Chairman to sign the written contract for The county of Lincoln, Nebraska.  A copy of said proposed contract is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office for public inspection.

 

6.         9:30 A.M.       Presentation by Kent Trelford-Thompson of Blue Cross/ Blue

7.         9:45 A.M.       Discuss and consider entering into a three party agreement between North Platte Physician Group, LLC, The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, and the Lincoln County Sheriff to provide medical services at the Lincoln County Detention Center.  A copy of said proposed contract is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office for public inspection.

 

8.         10:00 A.M.     Public hearing – Lincoln County Community Development Corporation to receive comments on the 2012 Funding Requests to the Nebraska Dept. of Economic Development (Community Housing Development Organization, Rental Rehab, Home Buyers Program – (Purchase, rehab, resale) and Owner Occupied Rehab)

 

9.         10:15 A.M.     Closed session concerning strategy regarding litigation and to protect attorney-client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the public interest
