NOTICE OF HEARING AND AGENDA 

      

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on August 12, 2013 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on August 12, 2013 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.       Open with prayer

 

2.       Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held on August 5, 2013

 

3.       Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
  • Fee reports submitted by County Court, County Clerk, Clerk of District Court, Register of Deeds, County Treasurer and County Sheriff
  • Interlocal agreements with the City of North Platte for maintenance of roads

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.       9:15 A.M.      Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on August 5, 2013
  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.       9:20 A.M.      Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into an agreement with Computer Information Concepts, Inc., titled Hardware, Software and/or Initial Peopleware Agreement, which is in regards to hardware/software being provided to the County and to be used by the Register of Deeds Office, and authorize the Lincoln County Board Chairman to sign the written agreement for The county of Lincoln, Nebraska.  A copy of said proposed agreement is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office for public inspection.

 

          Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska into an agreement with Computer Information Concepts, Inc., titled CIC Software License Agreement,which is in regards to giving a perpetual license to use the software to the County, and authorize the Lincoln County Board Chairman to sign the written agreement for The county of Lincoln, Nebraska.  A copy of the said proposed agreement is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office for public inspection.                                

 6.      9:30 A.M.      Discuss and consider setting a date for public hearing to receive comments on the proposed 2013/2014 fiscal year Lincoln County, NE budget.

               Discuss and consider setting a date for public hearing for the purpose of receiving comments relating to setting the final tax request at a different amount than the prior year

 

          Discuss and consider taking action to approve exceeding the budget limit by an additional 1% for the 2013/2014 fiscal year Lincoln County, NE budget

           7.     9:45 A.M.      File No. SU13-004 – Discuss and consider action on application   by Koch Feedlots, Inc. for Meyer Administrative Subdivision which will divide the existing agricultural dwelling site consisting of 1.63 acres from the remaining 314.89 acres of agricultural ground.  The property is located in the SE ¼ of  Section 24-14-33 in an Industrial District west of Hershey.

 

8.        10:00 A.M.    Discuss and consider acceptance of flood supplies donated by

          Union Pacific Railroad                                                                               

    

9.     10:15 A.M.    Presentation by ME Group concerning the HVAC upgrade of the Lincoln County Courthouse

 

10.     10:45 A.M.    Budget Work Session

       

 11.     12:00 P.M.    Meet with elected officials at the Sheriff’s Department in            the  training room
