Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on October 21, 2013 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on October 14, 2013

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the Management Representation Letter for the 2013 audit

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on October 14, 2013

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

5.         9:20 A.M.       Discuss and consider declaring the county’s scrap iron in the Lincoln

County Road Department to be surplus property, which is obsolete or unusable by

the county

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (scrap iron) located

at the Lincoln County Road Department

 

Discuss and consider selling the surplus property to North Platte Metals for $130.00

per ton, contingent on the total value of the surplus property (scrap iron) being

under $2,500

 

  • 6.9:30 A.M.Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into the following contracts and giving authority to the Chairman to sign the below contracts, concerning Bridge Project known as Maxwell Southwest, Project No.: Br-1480(11), and State Control No. 61414, with the following property owners:

 

Acquisition Contract for Permanent Easement (duplicate originals) with Glenn C. Rosenquist and Patricia B. Rosenquist, husband and wife, wherein The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, is purchasing a permanent easement of certain real estate, owned by Glenn C. Rosenquist and Patricia B. Rosenquist for $2,891.00. A copy of said Acquisition Contract for Permanent Easement, which includes legal description of the real estate, is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office.

 

Acquisition Contract for Permanent Easement (duplicate originals) with Bruce L. Reeves, Personal Representative of the Estate of Kenneth L. Reeves, Deceased, and Jeanne L. Reeves wherein The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, is purchasing a permanent easement of certain real estate that is titled in the name of Kenneth L. Reeves (who is now deceased) and Jeanne L. Reeves, husband and wife, as tenants in common, for $1,506.00.
