Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on March 24, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on March 24, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on March 17, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
  • Right of way permit submitted by McCook Public Power District
  • Proposal by BTS for upgrades/maintenance of the current phone system
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign rental agreements for various polling sites

to be used for the 2014 election year

  • Substitution of securities by Hershey State Bank as pledged to the County Treasurer

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on March 17, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

5.         9:30 A.M.       Discuss and consider accepting and filing with the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office the following conveyance to The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, and giving authority to the Chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to sign the Real Estate Transfer Statement regarding the below conveyance, to wit:

Easement Deed from Glenn C. Rosenquist and Patricia B. Rosenquist, husband and wife, dated March 10, 2014, regarding land located in the SE ¼ of Section 28, Township 13 North, Range 29 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Lincoln County, Nebraska, the area of said land contains .038 acres, more or less. A copy of said Easement Deed, which includes a complete legal description, is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office.

6.         10:00 A.M.     Receive bids for Project C56-(1308) (Fox Creek Bridge)

 

Consider acceptance of bid

 

7.         Conduct quarterly jail inspection of the Lincoln County Detention Center
