Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on September 2, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on August 25, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’ Receipt
  • Fee reports submitted by the County Sheriff
  • Accepting the resignation of Rod Yost as Noxious Weed Superintendent

effective September 14, 2014

  • Special designated liquor permit submitted by Sculley LLC for a reception

to be held at Creekside Event Center on October 4, 2014

  • Approving the addition of securities by Hershey State Bank as pledged to

the County Treasurer

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on August 25, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Motor vehicle tax exemption applications
  • Special valuation protest submitted by Wetlands America Trust, Inc.

Recess or adjourn to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:30 A.M.       Discuss and consider authorizing the Chairman to sign the

Victim Witness Unit Federal Grant Award (#14-VA-212), Subgrant Special

Conditions and Certification Form

 

6.         9:40 A.M.       Discuss and consider special designated liquor permit submitted

by Feather River Vineyards LLC for an event to be held at the Golden Spike on

September 18, 19 & 20, 2014

 

7.         9:50 A.M.       Discuss and consider DARE contracts with various school

districts in the County

 

8.         10:00 A.M.     David Olson to discuss moving World War I monument to

Iron Horse Park

 

9.         10:15 A.M.     Discuss and consider approving the purchase of materials
