Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on January 11, 2016 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held January 4, 2016

  • Appointment of official newspaper to publish legal notices in 2016 for Lincoln

County, NE

  • Adoption of a resolution authorizing the County Treasurer to invest funds for 2016
  • Three year Engagement Letter with Don Wilson, CPA for audit services
  • Fee reports submitted by the County Clerk, County Court, Register of Deeds

and Clerk of District Court

  • Right of way permit submitted by Beveridge Well Drilling

  • Discuss and consider whether to concur or not with the Lincoln County Assessor.

 

  • C. If the Lincoln County Board of Equalization concurs, then it shall discuss and consider instructing the Lincoln County Attorney’s Office to petition, which could be a petition for each house, the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission “to consider the county             assessor’s utilization of another professionally accepted mass appraisal technique that, based on the facts and circumstances presented by a county board of equalization, would result in a substantially different determination of actual value of the rent-restricted housing project.” See Neb. Rev. Stat. § 77-1333(10).
