Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on July 18, 2016 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held July 11, 2016

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipt
  • Fee reports submitted by the Lincoln County Sheriff and County Treasurer
  • Special Designated Liquor Licenses submitted by Sculley, LLC for two receptions on August 6, 2016 at Creekside Event Center and Harbor Lights, reception on August 13, 2016 at Harbor Lights.
  • Resolution approving the substitution of securities by Gothenburg State

Bank as pledged to the County Treasurer

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on July 11, 2016

  • Special Valuation Protests submitted by James M. Foster, Mitchell Fletcher, Tim Lindsey (The Paxton Farm, LLC), Douglas Beard (Rylico LLC), Daniel Kreis

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 10:00 A.M.     Discuss and consider special designated liquor permits submitted by

Fraternal Order of Eagles #2839 for fund raisers on October 14, 2016 held at the

Lincoln County Fairgrounds and October 15, 2016 held at Creekside Event Center.

 

  1. 10:15 A.M. Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln into an agreement

with Martin Troshynski to be the conflict attorney in matters where he would represent

individuals who are indigent and entitled to representation, in which he is Court appointed to represent such individuals in criminal matters, juvenile matters and subsections (1), (2), 3(a), and 3(b) of Neb. Rev. Stat. §43-247, mental health proceedings, child support contempt, and paternity cases.

 

  1. 10:30 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date to accept bids for an Economic Impact Analysis of Tourism in Lincoln County.

 

  1. 11:00 A.M. Introduction of Judd M. Allen from NACO Benefit Services

 

Recess as the County Board of Commissioners and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

  1. 11:30 A.M. Discuss and consider Property Valuation Protests (Form 422)
