Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on February 13, 2017 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

  1. Open with prayer
  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held February 6, 2017
  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Fee report submitted by the Register of Deeds

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on February 6, 2017
  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Motor vehicle tax exemption applications as submitted by the County Treasurer
  • Grant a waiver to Cross of Christ Revival Center to allow County Assessor to examine the exemption application which was filed after the deadline as per NE State Statute 77-202.01(2)

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

  1. 10:00 A.M. Public hearing to receive comments on the One & Six Year Road Plan of Lincoln County, Nebraska

Consider adoption of plan following public hearing

  1. 11:00 A.M. Receive Petition or Petitions to establish and organize a cemetery district with in Frontier, Dawson, Lincoln Counties and the Village of Farnam under the provisions of Neb. Rev. Stat. §§12-909 to 12-921.

To discuss and consider whether the Petition or Petitions to establish and organize a cemetery district within Frontier, Dawson, Lincoln      Counties and the Village of Farnam complies with the requirements of Neb. Rev. Stat. §12-909

  1. 11:15 A.M. Closed session concerning strategy session regarding litigation and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the public interest
  1. 11:30 A.M. Discuss and consider hiring Tim Brouillette, Attorney at Law, as co-counsel in the Cody Fletcher Chapter 13 Bankruptcy case to work with the Lincoln County Attorney’s office to provide legal representation and protect the County’s interest in such bankruptcy case.
  1. 12:00 P.M. Meet with elected officials and department heads
