Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on June 25, 2018 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held on June 18, 2018

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Authorize chairman to sign the Right of Way Certificate for Federal Aid, Recreational Trails Program Project
  • Authorize Chairman to sign the annual lease/purchase agreement with Caterpillar Financial Services Corp on the compact truck loader for the Lincoln County Department of Roads
  • Resignation of Michelle Gurciullo on the Security Committee
  • Appointment to Security Committee

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on June 18, 2018

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Notice of Valuation Changes

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

  1. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider petition for Preservation and Maintenance of Pleasant Valley Cemetery

 

  1. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider special designation applications submitted by Lincoln County Ag Society for events at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds Pavilion on July 27, 2018 and Lincoln County Grandstands on July 28, 2018.

 

  1. 9:55 A.M. Discuss and consider agreement with Martin Troshynski to be the conflict attorney in matters where he would represent individuals who are indigent and entitled to representation in which he is court appointed to represent such individuals in criminal matters, juvenile matters and subsections 1,2,3a & 3b of NE Rev. Stat §43-247, mental health proceedings, child support contempt and paternity cases.

 

  1. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider agreement with William Troshynski for legal services in guardianship and conservatorship matters.

 

  1. 10:05 A.M. Closed session concerning strategy session regarding litigation and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the public interest.

 

  1. 10:15 A.M. Update by Philip Black on Congressman Smith’s office.
