Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners. Present were Commissioners Duane Deterding, Bill Henry, Joe Hewgley and Deputy County Clerk, Terry Heessel.  Deterding offered prayer. Deterding called the meeting to order at 9:00 A.M.

 

Chairman Deterding announced the Open Meeting Act with amendments is posted for public review and the county board will comply with the open meeting requirements.

 

Motion by Henry, seconded by Hewgley to approve the minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held on November 19, 2018. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”.  Nays, none.

 

Motion by Hewgley, seconded by Henry to receive and order filed the treasurer’s receipts. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”.  Nays, none.

 

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners recessed at 9:15 A.M. and the Lincoln County Board of Equalization convened.

County Assessor, Julie Stenger appeared.

 

Motion by Henry, seconded by Hewgley to approve the minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on November 19, 2018. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”. Nays, none.

 

No certificates of correction or refund submitted by the County Assessor.

 

The Lincoln County Board of Equalization adjourned at 9:16 A.M. and the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners reconvened.

 

Motion by Hewgley, seconded by Henry to approve the Professional Design Services for Renovations of existing restrooms by Lee Davies Architecture and authorize the Chairman to sign. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”.  Nays, none.

 

Lorie Koertner was present to discuss combing the 2 Treasurer’s offices into 1.

 

Motion by Hewgley, seconded by Henry to approve combining the County Treasurer’s Real Estate office and the County Treasurer’s Motor Vehicle office into the current Motor Vehicle Office. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye’.  Nays, none.

 

Lannie Roblee requested that an auto gate on Snell Canyon Road be replaced (South line of Section 36-T11N-R28W). The auto gate had been removed in 2017.  He will be putting up fencing right up to the auto gate.

 

Motion by Hewgley, seconded by Henry to replace the auto gate on Snell Canyon Road. Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”.  Nays, none.

 

The County Commissioner’s thanked all involved in the process of redistricting Lincoln County into 5 districts. It took many offices to complete the process.

 

Motion by Hewgley, seconded by Henry to adopt Resolution 2018-31 to redistrict County Commissioner Districts from 3 districts to 5.  Upon roll call vote Hewgley, Henry and Deterding voted “aye”.  Nays, none.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 A.M.

 

Advance notice and the agenda for the November 26, 2018 board meetings were sent to the county board and all others requesting the same. Advance public notice (includes agenda) of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting and the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting was posted at the Lincoln County Courthouse, City Hall and the Lincoln County website on November 21, 2018; and was also emailed to the media on November 21, 2018.

 

The agenda for the meetings to be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 will be kept

continually current and open for inspection at the office of the Lincoln County Clerk. The regular meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will be at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.  The regular meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization will be at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.
