Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on October 14, 2019 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held October 7, 2019

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Receive and order filed the fee reports submitted by the County Clerk, Register of Deeds and County Sheriff

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on October 7, 2019

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Adoption of a resolution setting the 2019 tax levies for all political subdivisions

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

Rolling Hills 2nd Administrative Subdivision located at 3523 North Meadowlark Lane

Described as Lots 6 & 7, Rolling Hills Estates Second Subdivision of part of Section 19;

Township 14 North; Range 29 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska

 

 

Discuss and consider an application by Jeffrey Canyon Ranch, LLC for Jeffrey Lake

Administrative Subdivision located at Jeffrey Lake described as a tract of land in the S ½of Section 9; Township 11 North, Range 27 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska

 

  1. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider acceptance of bids for 3 new/used dump trucks

for the Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

  1. 10:00 A.M. Nebraska Public Power District to give an update on the construction

on R-Project Transmission Line

 

  1. 10:15 A.M. Accept bids for grader blades for the Lincoln County Department of

Roads

Discuss and consider setting a date to accept bids for a new/used dozer for the

Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

Carla O’Dell, Lincoln County Highway Superintendent, to present the annual report

 

  1. 10:45 A.M. Discuss and consider a resolution authorizing the issuance of Limited

Tax County Building Bonds in an amount not to exceed $4,700,000 for the purpose

of paying the costs of constructing additions and improvement to the county law

enforcement building

 

  1. 11:00 A.M. Discuss identifying and retaining a qualified representative for Lincoln

County to act on its behalf with respect to the jail expansion, specifically the review

of drawings, plans, instruments, architectural renderings, and to provide on-site

representation of Lincoln County during all phases of constructions

 

  1. 11:10 A.M. Discuss and consider AIA agreement between The county of Lincoln,

Nebraska and TreanorHL, Inc. for the detention center addition and remodel project

 

  1. 11:20 A.M. Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into an acquisition contract with CHAR-MAR-LONG, LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, to acquire a permanent easement in approximately 5.14 acres, located on the North Half (1/2) of Section 7, Township Thirteen (13), North, Range 30 West of the 6th P. M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, for the purpose of rebuilding a section of the West South River Road.

 

Discuss and consider accepting a donation of a temporary easement from CHAR-MAR-LONG, LIMITED PARTENERSHIP, which is in approximately 0.07 acres, located on the North Half (1/2) of Section 7, Township Thirteen (13), North, Range 30 West of the 6th P. M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, for the purpose of rebuilding a section of the West South River Road.
