Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on March 2, 2020 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

- Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting
held February 24, 2020
- Consider the following:
- Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
- Authorizing the Chairman to sign two (2) right of way applications submitted by Consolidated Company
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.
- 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
- Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting
held on February 24, 2020
- Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
- Motor vehicle tax exemption applications as submitted by the County Treasurer
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
- 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider declaring County’s surplus personal property (large conference table stored on the 4th floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse) to be surplus property, which is obsolete or unusable by the County.
- Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus personal property (large conference table stored on the 4th floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse).
- Discuss and consider authorizing Jeff Higgins, Building & Grounds Superintendent for Lincoln County, to sale the personal property (large conference table stored on the 4th floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse) to Aten Construction, contingent on the value of the property being less than $2,500.
- 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider a special designated liquor permit submitted by
Big Red Liquor for a cornhole tournament on March 15, 2020 at Lincoln County
Fairgrounds
- 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider informal bids for fencing on the South River
Road Reconstruction Project
- 10:15 A.M. Closed session for the following reasons, to-wit (1) discussion regarding deployment of security personnel and the ramifications from it, (2) threat of allegations which indicate imminent litigation against the County, (3) attorney client privilege regarding the matters, and (4) clearly necessary for the protection of the public interest. The above are all tied in together.
