Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on February 3, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

2. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting
held on January 27, 2014
3. Consider the following:
- Claims & Treasurer’ Receipts
- Textile rental agreements with Ideal Linen Supply to supply mats for the courthouse,
DMV, Probation & Jail
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.
4. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
- Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting
held on January 27, 2014
- Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
- Motor vehicle tax exemption applications
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

5. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution granting to Consolidated
Connect, Inc., its successors and assigns, a nonexclusive franchise to construct,
operate and maintain a cable system in The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, subject
to the rules and regulations stated in the Resolution.
6. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider proposal for Cut Creek Road Bridge Design
and Hydraulic Study with MRJ Engineering
7. 10:00 A.M. Discuss and consider adopting a Resolution giving and granting
the Chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners the authority to
approve or deny requests by a department head to become a leave recipient
under the catastrophic illness duration program or to approve or deny requests
by a department head to become a leave donor under the catastrophic illness
duration program.
8. 10:10 A.M. Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into
a settlement agreement with Dan Dameron, concerning a weed assessment bill.
9. 10:15 A.M. Closed Session concerning strategy regarding imminent litigation(s) and to
protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the public
interest.
