Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on December 1, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on December 1, 2014 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held November 24, 2014

 

3.         Consider the following:

  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipt
  • Cancellation of the Board of Commissioners meeting on December 29, 2014
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign the Certification of Highway Supt. for 2014

for the Nebraska Department of Roads

  • Addition of securities by NebraskaLand National Bank as pledged to the Lincoln

County Clerk

  • Acceptance of a proposal from Knapp Electric Inc. for a generator
  • Fee report submitted by the County Sheriff

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

held on November 24, 2014

  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Motor vehicle exemption applications

Recess or adjourn to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and

reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:30 A.M.       Discuss and consider a special designated liquor permit submitted

by Bull’s Bar & Grill of Hayes Center, NE for a reception to be held on December

13, 2014 at Harbor Lights formerly known as the Anchor Inn

 

6.         9:45 A.M.       Discuss and consider declaring used tires located at the Lincoln

County Department of Roads, to be surplus property, which is obsolete or

unusable by the county

 

Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (used tires)

located at the Lincoln County Department of Roads

 

Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (used tires) to Beveridge Well

Drilling Inc. for $100, contingent on the total value of the surplus property (used

tires) being under $2500

 

7.         10:00 A.M.     Receive bids for 1 or 2 new or used day cab semi-tractors

 

Consider acceptance of bid

 

8.         10:15 A.M.     Receive bids for 1, 2 or 3 new or used ten yard end dump trucks
