Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.
Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.
1. Open with prayer
2. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting
held on August 22, 2011
3. Consider the following:
- Ø Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
- Ø Fee reports submitted by the County Sheriff
- Ø Authorizing the chairman to sign the Equitable Sharing Agreement and
Certification to be submitted by the Lincoln County Attorney’s Office
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.
4. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
- Ø Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting
held on August 22, 2011
- Ø Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
- Ø Motor vehicle tax exemption applications
- Ø Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor
- Ø Protests of notice of rejection on Homestead Exemption Applications
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
5. 9:30 A.M. Discuss and consider adoption of a resolution by the Lincoln
County Board of Commissioners determining final allocation of levy for
political subdivisions
6. 9:45 A.M. Closed session to discuss personnel matter to prevent the
needless injury to the reputation of an individual
7. 10:15 A.M. Discuss and consider declaring the county’s scrap iron in the
Lincoln County Road Department to be surplus property, which is obsolete
or unusable by the county
Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (scrap
iron) located at the Lincoln County Road Department
Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (scrap iron) to North
Platte Metals LLC for $165 per ton, contingent on the total value of the
surplus property (scrap iron) being under $2,500
8. 10:20 A.M. Discuss and consider declaring the county’s scrap aluminum
in the Lincoln County Road Department to be surplus property, which is
obsolete or unusable by the county
Discuss and consider what value to place on the surplus property (scrap
aluminum) located at the Lincoln County Road Department
Discuss and consider selling the surplus property (scrap aluminum) to
North Platte Metals LLC for 45 cents a pound, contingent on the total
value of the surplus property (scrap aluminum) being under $2,500
