Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on June 26, 2017 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

  1. Open with prayer

 

  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

held June 19, 2017

 

  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Receive and order filed the fee report submitted by the County Sheriff
  • Authorize the Chairman to sign lease agreement – addendum #1 with the Nebraska Department of Administrative Services for office space in the Craft State Office Building from July 1, 2017 thru June 30, 2019
  • Authorize the Chairman to sign the sales order agreement with Capital Business Systems for a copier/scanner/printer for the County Clerk’s office
  • Authorize the Chairman to sign the IRS Form 720 for the PCORI fee
  • Special designated liquor permit submitted by Pals Brewing Company LLC for a reception to be held on July 17 at Norder Supply Inc. located at 48063 S Hwy 83, Maywood, NE
  • Resolution approving the withdrawal of securities pledged to the Lincoln County Clerk by NebraskaLand National Bank
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign a rental agreement with NMC for a skid steer for the Lincoln County Department of Roads
  • Authorizing the Chairman to sign a right of way permit submitted by Aaron Stalker

Merle Honerman & J. D. Hannah to Hospital Authority No. 1 of Lincoln County Board

of Directors to serve 6 year terms to expire September, 2023

 

Consider adoption of resolution following public hearing

 

  1. Public Hearing on an application from Pamela Szwanek, owner, and Michael Noffsinger, purchaser, under File No. Z17-001 proposing a rezoning of property from a R-2 Urban Density Residential District to a C-1 Commercial District located at 149 East North Lake Road, a tract of land located in the SE ¼ of Section 33, Township 13 North, Range 30 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, which in effect is a proposal to Amend the Official Zoning Map of The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, showing such rezoning.

 

Discuss and consider adopting Resolution No. 2017-15, which rezones property from a R-2 Urban Density Residential District to a C-1 Commercial District located at 149 East North Lake Road, a tract of land located in the SE ¼ of Section 33, Township 13 North, Range 30 West of the 6th P.M., Lincoln County, Nebraska, through an Amendment to the Official Zoning Map of The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, showing such rezoning.

Discuss and consider waiving the attorneys’ cost assessed against the Defendants in the following cases before the Lincoln County District Court to wit:  The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, vs.  James A. Rivera, et al., Case No. CI 16-33; The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, vs. James A. Rivera, et al., Case No. CI 16-34; and The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, vs. James A. Rivera, et al., Case No. CI 16-36.

 

  1. 10:30 A.M. Closed session concerning strategy sessions regarding pending litigations and to protect attorney client privilege, which is clearly necessary to protect the public interest.
