Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.
1. Open with prayer
2. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting
held on August 29, 2011
3. Consider the following:
v Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
v Fee report submitted by the County Clerk
Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.
4. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
v Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting
held on August 29, 2011
v Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
v Notice of valuation changes as submitted by the County Assessor
Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
5. 9:30 A.M. Presentation from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and
Detention Center Fundraiser to Bridge of Hope Advocacy Center, Rape &
Domestic Abuse Program and Community Domestic Violence Intervention
Program
6. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider approving the “Deed of Correction – Control of
Ingress and Egress” signed by Arline Kumor concerning Tract 3 of Project RRZ-
1390(3), Control No. 61416, regarding project commonly known as Front Road
Grade Separation, and give authority to the Chairman of the Lincoln County
Board of Commissioners to sign such “Deed of Correction – Control of Ingress
and Egress” and also authority to sign the Real Estate Transfer Statement
regarding such “Deed of Correction – Control of Ingress and Egress.” A copy
of said “Deed of Correction – Control of Ingress and Egress,” which includes
a complete legal description, is available at the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office
for public inspection.
7. 9:50 A.M. Discuss and consider authorizing Chairman to sign letter
to the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency appointing Jerry Hitchcock,
Lincoln County Highway Superintendent (RC), as the authorized representative
for Lincoln County for the federally declared disaster #4013
8. 9:55 A.M. Discuss and consider giving the Lincoln County Highway
Superintendent authority to have volunteer workers assist and /or work with
the Lincoln County Department of Roads, if such volunteer worker signs an
“Agreement Assuming Risk of Injury or Damage Waiver and Release of Claims
and Indemnity Agreement” that is approved by the Lincoln County Attorney
or one of her/his deputies.
9. 10:00 Closed session for strategy session concerning collective
bargaining with F.O. P. Lodge #26
