Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on January 23, 2012 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

 

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on January 23, 2012 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

 

1.         Open with prayer

 

2.         Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting

on January 17, 2012

 

3.         Consider the following:

 

  • Ø  Claims and Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Ø  Adoption of a resolution to approve the county depositories for 2012
  • Ø  Receive and order filed the Condition of the Treasury of Lincoln County,

Nebraska from July 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011

  • Ø  Right-of-way permit submitted by Dawson Public Power District

 

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

 

4.         9:15 A.M.       Discuss and consider the following:

 

  • Ø  Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting

on January 17, 2012

  • Ø  Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Ø  Motor vehicle tax exemption applications as submitted by County Treasurer

 

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

 

5.         9:30 A.M.       Discuss and consider adoption of a resolution to sign a project

program agreement with the State of Nebraska Department of Roads regarding

state wide fracture critical bridge inspections in Lincoln County, NE

Enhancement Juvenile Justice Grant application

 

7.         10:00 A.M.     Accept bids on vehicles for the Lincoln County Sherriff’s Office

 

Consider acceptance of bid

 

8.         10:15 A.M.     Discuss and consider approval of the Special Conditions for

release of funds as outlined in contract CDBG 10-ED-003; said documents

include Authorization to Request Funds, Procurement/Code of Conduct,

Furthering Fair Housing, and Grantee Information Sheet; and authorizing

the Board Chairman to sign the same

 

Appointment of an individual to represent The County of Lincoln, Nebraska,

as its Fair Housing Representative

 

Discuss and consider entering The county of Lincoln, Nebraska, into a

Comprehensive Agreement with the West Central Nebraska Development

District Non-Profit Development Organization regarding Greenbrier Rail

Services and Community Development Block Grant – Contract No. 10-

ED-003, and authorize the chairman to sign on behalf of the Lincoln County

Board of Commissioners
